Do you ever know what it feels like to ride a plane with a Business Class ticket? Or even experience true and absolute comfort on the road or on the air? If you’re looking for a Business Class experience on wheels then look no further! I am here to tell you that the Mercedes V-Class is the one you’re looking for. With its luxurious executive looks along with maximum comfort and space with a name, the V-Class wins the competition by a landslide.
To start things of, the V-Class has three different variants. The standard variant, the Avantgarde, and their top of the line which is a couple of meters longer than the usual V-Class.
The exterior of the V-Class simply screams luxury and elegance. Aside from its automatic side-doors and tail end, one of its amazing exterior features is that the headlights has “the LED Intelligent Light System” which adapts the lighting to the driving and weather conditions of the road which increases the vehicle’s visibility that supports drivers. It has adaptive headlamps that can adapt to any driving situation like Highbeam Assist (to prevent the dazzling oncoming vehicles) and Active Light Function which moves headlamps towards the curves to improve road visibility.
If you think the exterior looks amazing, wait till you see the interior. The V-Class is a 7 Seater MPV with Captain Seats that can turn 180 degrees but beware of changing the chair configurations because you’ll have to fold and lift these said chairs manually in order to change its form. But once the chairs are fixed on the railings, you’re completely safe.
Not only that but one of the best features of the V-Class is that it has a foldable table at the center, which is perfect for meetings and or eating lunch, etc. The V-Class also comes with an excellent sound system. It has the Burmester 6 Speaker Audiosystem that completely surrounds the vehicle for you to experience the perfect sound and music quality. Surrounding your cabin are configurable ambient lights which is, I gotta say, looks and feels comfortable when you’re driving or resting at the back seats at night.
The overall space for the V-Class is amazing as well. There’s literally a lot of room for activities. You have enough space to move around the cabin with ease and also have a lot of leg room for you to stretch before going down the vehicle after a long drive. Lots of space at the back and not to mention, it also has a specific space for your groceries! Yes, you read that right!
The V-Class comes with two (2) collapsable baskets at the trunk that is perfect for your groceries and or other things!
The engine of the V-Class is a 2.1L Diesel with AdBlue technology with the purpose of reducing harmful elements found in the vehicles emissions.
The V220D has about 161BHP and 280LB ft of torque. But the V250D, on the other hand, has the same engine but has more power which packs on 187BHP and 325LB ft of torque that makes the vehicle a little lighter than usual.
Now driving the V-Class feels a bit heavy but surprisingly, this MPV has a Sport mode (along with Comfort, Eco, and normal mode) which gives you that right amount of power you need when the situation demands it. Aside from that, the V-Class also has a 7-speed Dual Clutch Automatic Gearbox (7G Tronic) with Paddle Shifters if you’re need that engine braking.
I must say, it’s a comfort driving one. Even if you’re the one on the driver seat, you’ll always feel like a very important person. Yes, sure, driving one feels a bit heavy but hey, this isn’t a sports car. Mercedes literally made this huge MPV that is loaded with comfort and different features to make you feel like you’re a king or a very important person and I have to say it was such an honor driving one of these. Mercedes is still a Mercedes no matter what. Mercedes never fails when it comes to meeting comfort, performance, and luxury ever since. Not gonna lie, they’ve outdone themselves with the V-Class because as for me, it’s the most amazing and comfortable MPV I’ve ever had the pleasure of driving.
